Senior Year

Wow!

So much has happened over the summer and I'll try my best to digest and debrief all of the experiences. Summer has been incredible! I traveled back to China, visiting both Beijing and Shanghai just two weeks after debating from the MV Explorer. It was an amazing experience.

My time in China this time around was participating in the US China Student Leadership Summit. The aim of the program is to strengthen US-China ties by engaging students from both countries. It was awesome to be apart of the first class of US delegates as a part of the 100k String Foundation in partnership with WorldStrides. I made a lot of friends and had some amazing experiences. Perhaps I'll create a seperate post about this experience, we'll see.

After returning from China I went straight to work, and have been working almost everyday to prepare for the fall semester: Senior Year. While, today was the first day of the semester for many, I have yet to get my stuff together to start the semester on time. No worries, I'm working urgently to straighten everything out and get enrolled and resisted for classes. This is it, Senior Year, and I'll be documenting it all. My goal is to write a post each daily. To include you on my journey and strive to graduated and leave Morgan State University.

The time is now 9:40 as usually I am on the bus on my way home from work. Today was good. The sunset was beautiful.

Til next time, SMILE!
